BREAKING NEWS – Humboldt County has issued a health order requiring the use of facial coverings as a precaution against the spread of COVID-19!
The order takes effect at 12:01 am on Friday, April 24, 2020 until it is modified or rescinded. All people must wear a facial covering before:
entering any indoor facility except their own home, any enclosed space or any outdoor space where individuals are unable to maintain a distance of 6 feet from others at all times.
Facial coverings should not be placed on children under the age of 2, people who have difficulty breathing or anyone who cannot remove the material without assistance.
The police will be actively engaged in educating the public on the importance of facial coverings.
You can refer to DCARA’s video on making a mask on our website or on any of our social media platforms.
For example, I got my masks from the CVS store. It’s very simple and easy to wear. The top part of the mask has a metal insert to keep the mask secured to your nose. This mask helps me feels very secure and safe to go out into the public.
If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact DCARA via email at info@dcara.org or VP at 510-343-6670.
