The annual 5K benefits the Helen Keller National Center for Deaf-Blind Youths and Adults.
On Sunday, April 26, people of all ages and abilities will join together at the Sands Point Preserve for Helen’s Run/Walk 2020. The annual 5K/3.1 mile event benefits Helen Keller National Center for Deaf-Blind Youths & Adults (HKNC) and its mission to support those living with combined hearing and vision loss. Enjoy a fun-filled morning for the entire family while making a difference! All proceeds raised will provide essential Support Service Provider (SSP) assistance for HKNC staff and students who are deaf-blind. SSPs are specially trained individuals who provide visual and auditory information, human guide support and access to communication for individuals who are deaf-blind to enable them to actively participate in everyday life.
