Sioux Falls, S.D. (KELO) — It’s been 100 years since South Dakota ratified the 19th amendment, giving women the right to vote. We spoke with the South Dakota Federation of Republican Women about the history of the suffrage movement in the state and how the group is honoring a century of women voting. About a decade ago, the South Dakota School for the Deaf went through a major transformation of its program so it could better serve the entire state. Today, the organization has several locations across South Dakota and even has a Mobile Lab to help people who are deaf or hard of hearing. The School for the Deaf has several programs, resources and services set up to help people live their life to the fullest.
