Here’s what I learned about Esmirna School for the Deaf is very small and the classrooms are crowded. It’s not funded by the Government. The government refused to pay any cost of education for the Deaf community in Honduras. The only money they receive from a lady somewhere in the United States. Teachers are volunteers, they all dedicate their love for Deaf students.
What inside the house? They do have a computer lab, a classroom on the first floor, a kitchen, outside that contains all sewing machines, and more classes are upstairs. It does get hot during the day and kids made trips to get water to drink.
Unfortunately, students are not there due to a holiday. It was a summer holiday in their season. However, I simply want to reveal what this school looks like. . are upstairs.
