100-year-old North Carolina woman Bryant celebrated her 100th birthday in jail. And she didn’t do anything wrong.
Bryant says she lived a century and has never been arrested. So Roxboro, North Carolina deputies made her bucket list wish happened. They “arrested” Bryant at her assisted living center but not without a playful fight. She kicked at the officers as they placed her in the patrol car.
Once at the jail, deputies gave jailbird Bryant the full criminal treatment: fingerprinting, mug shot, given one phone call and she spent a few minutes behind bars. She later returned home and celebrated with a big party and a very good story.
