Who We Are
The New Jersey Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (NJRID) is a membership-driven professional association. Our members span the entire state and include professional American Sign Language (ASL)/English interpreters, transliterators, Deaf and hard-of-hearing consumers, students currently enrolled in interpreter training programs and others who have a personal interest in the field.
What We Offer
NJRID is one of many local affiliate chapters of the national Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf, Inc. (RID).
The principal purpose of NJRID is to initiate, sponsor, promote and execute activities that further the profession of interpretation/transliteration of American Sign Language and English.
