Nightingale is a member of Greater Houston Interpreters for the Deaf, Registry for Interpreters for the Deaf (RID), Houston Interpreters & Translators Association, Texas Interpreters for the Deaf (TID), and American Translators Association (ATA).

ACD’s strong ties with the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing community are a result of the founder’s dedication and passion for sign language. Each contracted ASL interpreter holds certifications from both national and state associations. These certifying organizations include the National Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) and the Florida Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (FRID).
